Compost at IPONS 2026
Conference:
The 28th International Nursing Philosophy Conference met at UC Irvine and online on 22–24 July 2026. Its theme was Listening and Speaking Otherwise: Encounters at the Edge of Nursing and Philosophy. Jess co-chaired with Miriam Bender.
Seven members were represented on the programme. Jane facilitated Nursing the Borderlands, with Annie-Claude, Brandon and Eva. Jamie and Jess held the invited conversation Camp and the Politics of Seriousness in Nursing and Health Philosophy. Jamie also facilitated Camp, Professionalism, and Performative Critique, which included Abstractification in nursing education, co-authored by Tue-Chieu Mai and Patrick. Jamie joined Thinking the Event of Nursing. Jess facilitated Nursing Crip Futures.
