Brandon is a white, cis, queer and newly middle class man. A registered nurse (MSN, RN-BC, CNL), he earned his B.S. in Nursing from Andrews University and a Master’s in Nursing Education from Norwich University. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Nursing at the University of Vermont, where he has taught since 2016, and practices in post-surgical and trauma care at the University of Vermont Medical Center, alongside doctoral study in education (EdD) at UVM. Brandon co-edited Nursing a Radical Imagination (Routledge, 2022) and writes at the intersection of nursing philosophy, posthumanism, and planetary health.
