Jane is a white, bilingual, cis, hetero woman who works as a pediatric nurse practitioner in Boston, Massachusetts, USA. She holds a PhD from the Boston College Connell School of Nursing (2023) and completed a postdoctoral fellowship in nursing at Université Laval, Québec (2024–2025). In clinical practice at Boston Children’s Hospital Primary Care at Longwood since 1986, she is interested in the intersection of health and people in global mobility contexts. Her doctoral research examined patterning within stories about important people and events in the lives of emerging adults, ages 18–22, who have im/migrated from Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador. She co-edited Nursing a Radical Imagination (Routledge, 2022) and writes on critical posthumanist nursing.
