Kieran Sheehan

(he/him)

EdD, MA · West Cumbria, UK

Kieran Sheehan is a movement artist and movement director who has worked for over twenty years across dance, theatre and opera, with credits including the Royal Shakespeare Company, Glyndebourne, the National Theatre and Opera North. His doctorate (EdD, St Mary’s University Twickenham, 2022) researched professional identities through intuitive movement — posthuman, diffractive video wonderings, the form behind his piece for the collective, Constantly Becoming With (2022). Formerly Acting Principal of the Academy of Live and Recorded Arts, he is now Co-director and Artistic Developer of Everyone Here, the Arts Council England-funded Creative People and Places programme for West Cumbria, where he leads the Jury for Joy — the UK’s first long-term citizens’ jury on creativity, featured by the UK Government’s Policy Lab.

Photo and self-written bio to come — the details above are from public sources; Kieran will make this page his own.
